THIS PEN IS FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION AND IS IN PRISTINE CONDITION. IT COMES TO YOU FROM A CLEAN, CLIMATE CONTROLLED HOME. IT HAS BEEN STORED WITH CARE AND LOOKS & WRITES AMAZING! The Montblanc Meisterstück No. 149 is renowned for its impeccable craftsmanship. ROUND THE CAP EICHED IN GOLD GERMANY, IT HAS THE PISTON SCREW FILLER, ONLY USED MONTBLANC INK. This fountain pen is from the years I lived in Germany back in 1981 to 1985. I got it from my teacher for completing a 6 months research that resulted winning a big price in Europe for our university. Pen was new & un-used but perhaps from 70’s. I've barely written with it since I had another fountain pen and wanted to keep this for special meetings mostly to show offJ. The filling mechanism is working perfectly and the pen writes as if new.

This is the legendary Montblanc Meisterstück 149 piston filler fountain pen which was made in 1983 in the Former West Germany, this era of pen from the former West Germany are amongst the most desirable amongst collectors. This box set collection is very rare and highly collectable. This pen is in truly excellent, very lightly used condition and is in full working order. Presented in the original Montblanc inner and outer boxes, complete with the full set of authenticity paperwork. Currently writes with it's original solid 18K Gold MontBlanc nib which displays the hallmark '18K 750' which represents the gold content. The barrel and cap are made of black precious resin inlaid with Montblanc emblem, Nib size is Medium Around the body of the pen in Gold it reads: 'MontBlanc Meisterstuck No. 149' The unique authenticity numbers are etched around the top of the pen which read: 'EB102921' 'W.Germany' is etched around the top of the pen in gold. MontBlanc's snowflake logo is displayed at the very top of this item, as seen in the pictures. Measurements: 14.9 cm (5.65 inches approx.)
